The Greek National Anthem, the”Hymn to Liberty”, was translated for the first time into the Greek Sign Language in a video produced by the Association of Greek Sign Language Teachers.
As reported by ertnews.com, a member of the Board of Directors, Agapi Dimopoulou, explained how the idea was conceived and how they translated the Greek national Anthem into the Greek Sign Language.
It is recalled that the Greek national anthem is a poem written by Dionysios Solomos in 1823 and was set to music by Nikolaos Mantzaros.
