A great honor and blessing for the Greek Center of Cairo and the historic parish association of the Egyptian capital was the warm welcome reserved for Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa on the eve of his name day, on the evening of February 16.
The Primate of the African Orthodox Church was welcomed by the Vice President of the Hellenic Center of Cairo, Nikos Katsikas.
The Vice President of the “House of the Greeks in Cairo” conveyed the wishes of President Nikolas Vadis and the entire Board of Directors to the Primate of the African Orthodox Church.
