Great Festal Vespers was celebrated on Christmas Eve in Perth

On Christmas Eve, Bishop Elpidios of Kyanes officiated the festal Vespers service at the Church of Saints Constantine and Helen, which was conducted in English.

It was an opportunity for many young families to listen to the beautiful hymns and Old Testament readings of Christmas in English.

Before the dismissal, Bishop Elpidios announced read the Christmas encyclical of Archbishop Makarios of Australia and conveyed to all the faithful his paternal Christmas blessings.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Bishop distributed to all the faithful a fasting sweet, wishing everyone a special, happy and blessed Christmas.
