In December 2020, the Foodbank of the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain was very busy providing hundreds of food and care packages for the homeless, schools, families and individuals in need.
A portion of these packs went to a housing estate. The Archdiocesan Foodbank also provided Cook to Care with fresh and dried produce for the month for hot meals prepared for people in need.
The Archdiocese of Thyateira via an announcement thanked all those who have supported and donated to the Archdiocesan Foodbank, the clergy, laity, parishes, and communities throughout the Archdiocese.
A very special thanks was also given to the dynamic volunteers who helped throughout the month to put the packs together and deliver them to beneficiaries.
The Archdiocese commended them for the time, dedication, and efforts they have exerted for our sisters and brothers in need.
