The Patriarch was concelebrated by Metropolitan Jacques (El-Khoury), the Metropolitan of Buenos Aires and all Argentine, along with Bishop Moussa (El-Khoury), Bishop Ephrem (Maalouli), and Bishop John Batash, in addition to a number of priests and deacons.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Patriarch commended the pastoral work carried out by Metropolitan Jacques in the Archdiocese of Argentina, asking the Lord to grant him all success in his blessed service. He also welcomed the newly ordained fathers, who will accompany Him and will serve along with Him in the Archdiocese, namely, Father Paisios Yazigi, Father Chrysostomos Halawy, and Deacon Demetrius Salloum, wishing them success and steadfastness in their service.
The Metropolitan thanked the Patriarch for His pastoral blessing, as He participated in the Pentecost Mass, asking Him to mention in His prayers, all the children of the Archdiocese of Argentina, who despite the geographical distance, feel the strength of the bond with their mother Church back home.
