Minister of Immigration and Expatriates Affairs, Nabila Makram, thanked the Greek population of Egypt as well as Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria for their financial assistance in the fight against the coronavirus.
The Ministry of Immigration and Expatriates Affairs announced that the Patriarchate of Alexandria donated 200,000 Egyptian pounds to the “Tahya Misr” Fund (Long live Egypt) which is set up for the fight against the coronavirus. In addition, Nabila Makram stressed that the initiative of the Patriarchate of Alexandria was ensuring the continuing cooperation between the two countries. Finally, she thanked the Patriarchate of Alexandria as well as the Greek population living in Egypt for their efforts in the fight against the coronavirus.
