Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew sent a heartfelt and brotherly message of support to Pope Francis, who is being hospitalized for a scheduled operation procedure.
In his message, the Ecumenical Patriarch wished Pope, “speedy recovery hoping that the operation was successful.”
He also expressed his wish, for a meeting soon, “so as to promote together the necessary unity mission, in which Jesus Christ calls us.”
It is reminded that, a few days ago, a delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, under Metropolitan Emmanuel of Halkidona, participated in the celebration of the Thronal Feast of the Church of Rome and had a special meeting with the Pope, to whom they conveyed the message of the Ecumenical Patriarch
