Deputy Foreign Minister for Diaspora Greeks, Antonis Diamataris, will pay an official visit to Constantinople on Tuesday, September 10, where he will first meet with the Ecumenical Patriarch, Bartholomew, and then have contacts with officials of Greek Expatriates and Greek local schools.
Mr. Diamataris has been assigned the Portfolio of Ecclesiastical Matters in addition to the Portfolio of Overseas Hellenism, while commencing his communications with the Churches around the world from the Protothrone Church of Constantinople, the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
Mr. Diamataris knows the ecclesiastical issues, but also the difficulties and problems of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and other Patriarchates and Autocephalous Churches.
