The Theological School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens was informed with joy and emotion of your election to the responsible and multifaceted position of the Patriarch of Serbia.
We remember our common course during our postgraduate studies in terms of research and writing a PhD dissertation and we are really proud that a true child of the Orthodox Church and doctor of the Theological School of Athens (2004) is deemed worthy to assume the position of the Patriarch of Serbia.
Your Beatitude, dear fellow student, we are in front of the new spiritual leader who, as a capable helmsman, will lead his flock in difficult times and we extend our congratulations to you, looking forward to strengthening the bonds between the Theological School of Athens and the seat of the Patriarchate of Serbia and communicating with you in person when conditions allow.
