On the great Feast of the Nativity of Christ, Metropolitan Meliton of Philadelphia presided over the Orthros and the Divine Liturgy in the chapel of the Seminary. The Abbot, Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos, attended and concelebrated the services.
Believers from the island and Constantinople, as well as a group of pilgrims from Ukraine, also attended the Orthros and the Divine Liturgy.
After the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Metropolitan thanked, in his homily, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew for the fact that he gave them the permission to officiate, as well as the Abbot for the hospitality.
A festive luncheon followed, where the congregation, the Metropolitan, and the Abbot wished each other all the best.
