Bishop Victor of Baryshevka of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Patriarchate of Moscow held a two-day working visit to Strasbourg.
Bishop Victor met with Christophe Poirel, the new Human Rights Director, as well as the Special Advisor to Council of Europe’s Secretary General for Ukraine, Regis Brillat.
On Thursday, February 28, Bishop Victor met with Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatović and her associates.
The Ukrainian Bishop briefed European officials on the status of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Patriarchate of Moscow following the granting of autocephaly to the new Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
