With the Blessings of Archbishop Makarios of Australia and upon invitation by the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Canberra, Christopher Prowse, the Archiepiscopal Vicar of Canberra, Bishop Bartholomew attended the service this morning at the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Canberra.
At the end of the service, Bishop Bartholomew presented the Archbishop with an icon of St Christoforos and spoke about the life of the Saint. Moreover, he conveyed the love and respect of Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
At the end of service, a statue of St Christoforos was unveiled by Archbishop Prowse outside the Roman Catholic Cathedral.
