A solemn Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Cathedral of the Apostle Andrew in Kentish Town in central London.
Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain presided over the service, along with Archbishop Zenon of Dmanisi and Agarak-Tashiri (in Great Britain and Ireland – Patriarchate of Georgia) and Bishop Maximos of Melitene.
Protosyncellus Archim. Nikodimos Anagnostopoulos, Archim. Chrysostomos Tympas, the Hierarchical Vicar Protopr. Konstantinos Garivaldinos, Protopresbyters Nikolaos Kokkinos, and Christianos Akselberg, and Deacon George Tsourous.
Archbishop Nikitas, in his rich sermon, referred extensively to the First-Called Apostle Andrew, to the call of all of us from Christ to become His disciples and followers, and to our Christian witness in the modern world, especially in the foreign mission and in regions of the world that people are hungry, suffering from hardships and diseases and seeking catechism and spiritual cultivation.
