This morning, Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece met with Dr. Mohamed Mahdi Immanipour, Director of the Islamic Organization for Cultural and Interfaith Relations of Iran.
During the meeting, which lasted more than 45 minutes, they had the opportunity to exchange views on international developments. They emphasized that substantial steps must be taken to consolidate world peace.
“From theory to practice,” they said. They emphasized the important role of religions in this direction.
The Archbishop and Dr. Immanipour agreed that there should be closer cooperation in cultural activities and the student exchange program should be strengthened.
They exchanged traditional gifts as part of the visit.
