Archbishop of America: Let us pray for Archbishop of Athens

Archbishop Elpidoforos of America, in a post on social media, called on the faithful to pray for relief from the devastating fires in Greece, Turkey, Italy, and the United States.

As he characteristically stressed, “tomorrow let us recommit ourselves to confont climate crisis with renewed urgency”.

 

Today we pray to the Lord for relief from the catastrophic fires in Greece, Turkey, Italy and the USA. Tomorrow let us recommit ourselves to confront the #ClimateCrisis with renewed urgency.
