Archbishop Elpidophoros of America sent a special message for World Refugee Day.
In particular, he posted a photo on social media, which was taken by Pulitzer Prize winner Giannis Bechrakis. Above the photo, he wrote: “The Lord said, ‘I was a stranger and you welcomed to me’ (Matt 25:35). What more do we need to hear or know to open our hearts to the refugees in our midst? #WorldRefugeeDay”
