In a post on social media, Archbishop Elpidophoros of America condemned violence against anyone in the wake of a shooting spree of eight victims in the Atlanta area, many of whom were women of Asian descent.
As he notes, “Violence against anyone is unacceptable for Christians. Attacking Asian-Americans in word has led to a deed of unspeakable horror. We are all human beings and all have equal value. With our prayers for those murdered, let us work for an end to prejudice and hatred.”
