Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana, Durres and all Albania faces a new health problem a few days after he was discharged from the Intensive Care Unit of Evangelismos Hospital after a “battle” with COVID-19.
Information indicates that the Archbishop had low-grade fever and fatigue last Wednesday and that worried his relatives and associates who immediately contacted the physicians.
As reported by iefimerida.gr, a group of experts visited Archbishop Anastasios this morning at his home in Psychiko to test and assess the Anastasios’s health condition which must be monitored carefully since the Archbishop is 91 years old and has underlying health problems.
It is noted that the Archbishop of Tirana, Durres and all Albania had been discharged from Evangelismos last Monday after a 12-day hospitalization in the Intensive Care Unit under the supervision of the team led by Professor Anastasia Kotanidou.
According to the new medical bulletin, the Archbishop tested positive for COVID-19 on November 11 while after his discharge his physicians instructed him to remain in quarantine at home, observing all the prescribed instructions and the necessary treatment.
