The most important sacred relic belonging to the Armenian army – the “Ashot Erkat” (Ashot II the Iron) cross – bearing parts of the Sacred Wood, was transported to Nagorno-Karabakh.
This was announced by Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Primate of the Diocese of Artsakh of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
According to a post he made on social media, Pargev Martirosyan blessed with the Cross the “four sides of the Armenian Land” in the name of Peace and Victory.
It should be recalled that the war between the Azerbaijani and Armenian armies has been taking place in Nagorno-Karabakh since September 27.
