The Ambassador of Greece to Australia, George Papakostas, along with his wife, Gohar Badalyan, visited the offices of the Archdiocesan District of Perth on Monday, December 11.
Representing Archbishop Makarios of Australia, Bishop Elpidios of Kyanea warmly welcomed the visitors, accompanied by the Consul of Greece in Perth, Georgia Karasiotou.
After the constructive discussion that took place in the office, Mr. Papakostas was guided through all the premises of the Archdiocese, as well as the church of St. Nektarios, which is located next to the headquarters of the Archdiocesan District of Perth.
During his stay in the capital of Western Australia, the Ambassador of Greece will also visit the Museum of Western Australia, while he will meet with the Mayor of Perth, Vassilios Zebilas, and attend the concert “Maria Callas: A Concert in Hologram” at the Concert Hall of the city, together with his colleague, Ambassador of the European Union to Australia, Gabriele Visentin.
