On the afternoon of Tuesday, August 20, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, accompanied by Metropolitans Kyrillos of Imbros and Tenedos, Iakovos of Mexico, along with clergy, nuns, and several local residents from Imbros, visited the chapel of Saint Charalambos. The chapel, nestled in a forest near the Patriarch’s home village of Saints Theodore, was the site of a Vespers service led by the village priest, Fr. Asterios Okomousis. The gathering offered a moment of communal prayer and reflection in the serene surroundings.
