Upon the release of the book “The Church in a Period of Pandemic,” the Center of Ecumenical Missiological and Environmental Studies “Metropolitan Panteleimon Papageorgiou” (CEMES), in cooperation with the International Hellenic University (IHU) and the Master Programme in Orthodox Ecumenical Theology (MOET), organized a virtual meeting to discuss the situation nine months after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and the problems created within the Church.
Speakers: Metropolitan Alexandros of Nigeria, the Professor of Health Policy at LSE, Elias Mossialos, the Professor of Religion, Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University Elisabeth Prodromou, the Emeritus Professor and Director of MOET Petros Vassiliadis, the Editor of the publication, Prof. Nikolaos Dimitriadis, and the President of CEMES, Professor of Sociology of Religion Niki Papageorgiou, who coordinated the event.
