With the blessing of Metropolitan Dorotheos II of Syros and Tinos, the Apodosis of the Feast of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary was celebrated solemnly in the Church of Panagia Evaggelistria in Tinos.

The Great Vespers Service was performed yesterday by the Secretary of the Holy Synod and Chief of the Church of Saint Eleftherios in Gyzi, Archim. Fr. Barnabas Theocharis, and the Priest of Church of Saint Dionysius the Areopagite in Athens, Fr. Theofanis Darzentas.

The Orthros and the Divine Liturgy was performed by Archim. Barnabas Theocharis and Theofanis Darzentas on the feast day.

Dozens of faithful and pilgrims from Greece and abroad still arrive in Tinos in order to pay their respects to the Holy Icon of the Virgin Mary and seek the intercession of the Theotokos.
