During her official visit to Vienna, at the invitation of her Austrian counterpart, Alexander van der Bellen, the President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, attended a reception held in her honor at the Ambassador’s residence. In her address to the Greek diaspora, President Sakellaropoulou highlighted their significant role in fortifying the bilateral ties between Greece and Austria, underscoring the invaluable contributions of Hellenism across the globe.
President Sakellaropoulou engaged in substantive discussions with the Austrian President and also visited the country’s Parliament during her stay.
Additionally, she made a meaningful visit to the Holy Metropolis of Austria, extending her respects and receiving a warm welcome from Metropolitan Arsenios of Austria and Exarch of Hungary and Central Europe. He graciously guided her to the Holy Trinity Metropolis.
