Patriarch Ioannis of Antioch visited the headquarters of the Russian Ministry of Defense in Moscow where he held a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu.
During the meeting, which took place in a very good spirit, the Patriarch of Antioch and the Russian Minister of Defense discussed about current issues and what actions should be taken to enhance the presence of Christians in the Middle East, as well as how to maintain good relationships with all sects.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that both sides agreed on contributing further to the peace efforts in Syria and maintaining stability in Lebanon.
