“With a sense of honour and responsibility, I undertake the crucial and key position of the leadership of the Ministry of Education,” said the new Minister of Education and Religious Affairs, Niki Kerameus, at the ministry’s delivery and reception ceremony earlier today, Tuesday.
Mrs. Kerameus stressed that “Education is the biggest investment we can make in the country” because it defines its present and future. She also made clear that it will seek broader political consensus, as everyone’s common goal is “to shape a better future for children and our country”.
Regarding the Portfolio of Religions, the Minister urged hierarchs, priests and associates to assist her leadership “in an open dialogue with the ministry”.
