A warm welcome was given by the Egyptians of Cairo and Alexandria to the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of the outskirts of Florina, which celebrated with them the national holiday of the 25th of March.
The traditional club of the bordering city of Greece, which began its work in 1952, arrived in Egypt to meet the Greek Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Alexandria, one of the 17 of the Greek expats, making its first station at the Egyptian capital, at the Greek Cultural Centre of Cairo.
The Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Florina was accepted by Aliki Antoniou, President of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Alexandria.
The Patriarch of Alexandria celebrated Christina Golana, President of the Florina’s Lyceum Club, and thanked the Lyceum for their support to the Greeks abroad and the Second Patriarchate of Orthodoxy.
