The liturgy for the Pentecost in Kyiv by Metropolitan Epiphaniy (PHOTOS)

The Divine Liturgy on the Sunday of Pentecost was performed by the Primate of the Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Epiphaniy.

The Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Cathedral of St. Michael with the golden domes, while the Metropolitan of Simferopol and Crimea, Archbishop Cherniyiv and Nizin Yevstratiy, Archbishop Vishorod Agapit, co-celebrated with Metropolitan Epiphaniy.

During the Divine Liturgy, prayers were heard for the soldiers defending Ukraine, for the government and people of the country, and for the peace of the souls of all the fallen defenders of Ukraine.

The Metropolitan of Kyiv also ordained Yuri Mygal, a teacher at the Kiev Theological Academy, to a deacon.
