On 25 December 2023, with reverence and ecclesiastical splendor, the Great Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was celebrated at the Theological School of Halki.
At the feast day matins in the chapel of the School, the Abbot of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos officiated, who likewise presided over the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, during which many groups of pilgrims from various regions of Greece and also faithful from the Princes’ Islands attended the celebration.
After the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the Abbot wished all those who were present well for the feast day of Christmas and the fast-approaching celebration of the new year.
On the previous evening, 24 December, Bishop Kassianos also officiated at the Great Vespers of Christmas.
