The Chief of HNDGS, General Konstantinos Floros, welcomed Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa into his office on Wednesday, April 13.
As announced, issues of mutual interest were discussed, as well as the important work carried out by the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria, as well as the various activities of the Greeks who live in the wider region of Cairo and Alexandria.
The Patriarch, among other things, referred to the excellent relations of the Egyptian state with the Patriarchate and the special interest of the President of Egypt, El-Sisi, in the Patriarchate and the work it does. Finally, the Chief of HNDGS informed the Patriarch about his forthcoming visit to Egypt.
