For this year, the Botsis Foundation has decided to give a special award to His Beatitude Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana, Durrës and All Albania
The President of the Republic, who awarded him the honor, praised His Beatitude for his spiritual work, with particular reference to his defending Greece and the Hellenic diaspora. “This is a source of inspiration for all of us,” stressed Mr. Pavlopoulos.
Archbishop of Tirana, thanked the President of the Republic for his kind words and he said that, besides the ideal of freedom and democracy, love is also of vital importance. “We need a ‘quality resistance’ today, as a hope for the future,” concluded Archbishop Anastasios.
