Patriarch Neophyte of Bulgaria met with the Archbishop of Cyprus on Monday, May 20, in Sofia.
As stated in an announcement by the Archdiocese of Cyprus, the two Primates discussed the topical issues that concern the Orthodox world in recent times, while in the end they both wished for God to guide Orthodox Church to its ministry.
At the end of the meeting, Patriarch Neophyte awarded an honorary plaque with the Holy Apostles Paul and Barnabas to the Archbishop of Cyprus, while for his part Archbishop Chrysostomos donated to the Patriarch of Bulgaria an Engolpion.
