The Ambassador of Denmark to Egypt, Svend Olling, paid a visit to the headquarters of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, where he was warmly received by Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa.
The Primate of Alexandria, after welcoming Olling and his wife, informed him of the presence of the Patriarchate in the African Continent, referring to the missionary and social work carried out through the Dioceses of the Patriarchate.
Patriarch Theodore stressed that the Patriarchate of Alexandria is a religious and cultural nucleus in the region of Egypt and the Eastern Mediterranean and will always contribute to the peaceful and harmonious coexistence of peoples.
For his part, the Ambassador of Denmark thanked Patriarch Theodore for the warm welcome and assured him that the Embassy of his country in Egypt and him personally, will support the work of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria.
