With the Blessing of Archbishop Makarios of Australia, Bishop Elpidios of Kyanea officiated at the Hierarchical Pre-sanctified Divine Liturgy at the Parish of St Catherine’s in Mascot on the 30th of March which marked the Wednesday of the Fourth Week of Great and Holy Lent.
At the end of the service, Bishop Elpidios thanked Archbishop Makarios for granting the blessing and permission to serve as well as parish priest, Fr Stavros Ivanos, for the invitation to visit the Church of St Catherine. In addition, Bishop Elpidios thanked everyone for attending the service and wished all a good reminder of Holy and Great Lent.
Bishop Elpidios is currently in Sydney for the Episcopal Assembly of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia, in which the 13th meeting of Bishops took place on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th March, under the Chairmanship of Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
