Ukraine’s president, Petro Poroshenko made a very serious statement via his personal facebook account, claiming that Moscow threatens Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
President Poroshenko noted that the decision regarding the Autocephaly of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has been approved. Tomos confirms the creation of the new Church.
Now the responsibility lies with the other Churches.
”The State and I did our part and so did His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. Maybe more than he should, given the fact that he’s under extreme pressure and threats by Moscow” the President emphasised.
