According to the Argentine media, Pope Francis was allegedly vaccinated today against the coronavirus in the atrium of the Paul VI audience hall.
The Holy See does not confirm the news but it announced that the vaccination process has begun today in the Vatican.
In particular, the pope’s spokesman, Matteo Bruni, announced the beginning of the vaccination campaign for about 5,000 residents and staff of the Vatican.
Last week, however, Pope Francis announced that he had decided to be vaccinated because it was “an ethical obligation.”
According to Argentine media, the 84-year-old pope will be given the second dose of the vaccine in about three weeks.
