On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, the Patriarchate of Jerusalem welcomed Satybaldy Burshakov, the retiring Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Israel and Cyprus, in a special visit to commemorate his distinguished service.
During the visit, the Patriarch bestowed upon Ambassador Burshakov the prestigious medal of the Grand Commander of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher as a token of appreciation for his exemplary cooperation and his country’s longstanding partnership with the Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
In reciprocation, Mr. Burshakov presented the Patriarch with the highest honorary decoration of Kazakhstan, symbolizing the mutual respect and goodwill shared between the two nations.
