Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia received the Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Serbia, Silvia Davidoiu in Belgrade, on April 14, 2021.
In a cordial conversation, the Patriarch and the representative of Romania expressed mutual satisfaction with the friendly relations between the two neighboring nations. The interlocutors agree that the Orthodox faith makes our peoples especially close. Ambassador Davidoiu informed the Patriarch of Serbia about the excellent cooperation between the Republic of Romania and the Republic of Serbia, emphasizing that she is happy that the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Romanian Orthodox Church enjoy a reputation of the highest trust among the people.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Office of the Serbian Patriarch, Deacon Aleksandar Prascevic.
