On August 2, 2021, on the feast of the Holy Prophet Elijah, Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the namesake church in the Belgrade settlement of Mirijevo.
The Patriarch of Serbia was concelebrated by Bishops Jerotej of Toplica, elected Bishop Sava of Marca, protopresbyter-staurophor Dragan Predic, and deacons Radomir Vrucinic and Nemanja Kalem. In addition to numerous faithful people, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was also attended by the President of the City Municipality of Zvezdara, Vladan Jeremic, and a member of the municipal council, Dusan Ignjatovic.
