Patriarch Irinej of Serbia celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the Church of Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas in Rakovica on June 24, 2020.
The Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was concelebrated by the local clergy. At the beginning of the service, Patriarch Irinej consecrated a new fresco painting of the church. After the cross procession around the church, the Patriarch handed over the diploma to Darko Spajic, an entrepreneur from Rakovica, for his selfless love and zeal for the Serbian Orthodox Church, and especially for the great contributions to the renovation of the church of the Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas.
