On Saturday, February 26, the Patriarchate of Georgia published another letter, in which Patriarch Ilia addressed the clergy and the people of the country, and invited them to daily prayer for Ukraine.
Specifically, he states that: “Due to the difficult situation in Ukraine and in the world, I give the blessing on Sunday, February 27, after the service, to make a special request for peace in Ukraine and in the world.
I also give a blessing to all the clergy and faithful of the Church of Georgia to pray daily, so as to strengthen peace.
God bless and calm Ukraine and the whole world.
May the Virgin Mary take all of Georgia under her wing.
