Your Holiness,
With profound sorrow, we express our heartfelt sympathy for the tragic events that unfolded on March 22 in Moscow. Terrorism, in all its forms, is utterly reprehensible and has no place in our world. The senseless loss of innocent lives, including children and civilians, is a grave and inhumane sin that deeply wounds the fabric of humanity.
In this time of mourning, we offer our fervent prayers for the repose of the souls of the departed and for the swift recovery of those injured. Our thoughts and prayers also extend to the families and friends of the victims, as well as to the entire community affected by this tragedy.
May the comforting embrace of God’s love provide solace and strength to all those who are grieving. Let us join together in prayer for peace, both in our hearts and across the world, as we strive to overcome hatred and division with the transformative power of love.
With brotherly love,
+ILIA II, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia
