The Minister of National Defense, Nikos Panagiotopoulos, received Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa yesterday in his office.
As announced, the minister was briefed by the Patriarch on the work, contribution and missions of the Patriarchate of Alexandria in Egypt and throughout Africa.
On his part, the Patriarch sent his wishes in favor of the Greek army of Greece, and expressed his gratitude for the contribution of the motherland to the Greek community in Egypt, which keeps alive the presence of the Greek Orthodox community in the region, confirming the excellent relations between Greece and Egypt.
