One week after officially taking over as Georgia’s new Prime Minister, Giorgi Gakharia, met with Patriarch Ilia II of Georgia at the Patriarchate in Tbilisi.
Patriarch Ilia blessed the PM and wished him success in the new post, the administration of the government of Georgia wrote on Sunday, September 15, as reported by Agenda.
Gakharia officially took the post on September 8, after the resignation of Mamuka Bakhtadze.
