The funeral service of the former Metropolitan of Peristeri, Chrysostomos, will take place on Saturday, November 9, at 12:00 noon, in the presence of Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all Greece.
His remains will be received today at 8:00 pm at the Evangelistria Cathedral of Peristeri. A Trisagion service will take place, followed by a Holy Vigil until the early hours of Saturday.
On Saturday, November 9, Metropolitan Klimis of Peristeri will officiate at the Divine Liturgy.
The blessed hierarch expired yesterday afternoon at 5:30 pm at the 401 Athens Military Hospital after a long illness.
