Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will travel to Tirana on an ad hoc basis after completing his visit to Skopje today, according to his personal twitter account.
“By order of the Prime Minister, Greece will provide immediate practical assistance to Albania to address the effects of the earthquake that struck the country,” Mr Dendias noted. “I have already contacted Minister of Citizen Protection Michalis Chrysochoidis, and I will travel to Tirana myself on an emergency basis following my visit to Skopje.”
Earlier today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed “Greece’s support to the people and government of Albania for the consequences of the earthquake that hit our neighboring country.”
