The feast of St. John Chrysostom is the name day of Metropolitan Hrizostom of Dabar-Bosnia, Locum Tenens of the patriarchal throne.
This year, 2020, of the mercy of the Lord, the Metropolitan offered prayers to his heavenly patron in the Dobrun Monastery, where, in the Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God, he celebrated a festive evensong, and on the feastday the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with concelebration of clergy.
After the Holy Liturgy, Archimandrite Jefrem from Stanjevici monastery blessed the solemn gifts and expressed best wishes to Metropolitan Hrizostom from his heavenly protector, St. John Chrysostom.
