Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and All Scandinavia will make his first visit of the new year to the St. Cleopas the Apostle Parish in Kalmar, Sweden on February 3-4, 2023, accompanied by Archimandrite Bartholomew Iatridis, parish priest of the St. George Cathedral in Stockholm.
On the afternoon of Friday, February 3rd, Metropolitan Cleopas will meet with the parish council in Kalmar and the local area Greek Orthodox faithful.
On Saturday morning February 4th, the Archieratical Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at the Skogssalen Church, located at Kungsgårdsvägen 2Β, 39337 Kalmar, at 10 a.m., presided over by Metropolitan Cleopas, who will be assisted by Metropolis clergy. The cutting of the traditional vasilopita will follow in the adjacent church hall (Ηeliga korsets församlingshem), at 11:40 a.m.
This pastoral visit by the Metropolitan provides an opportunity to gather together, exchange wishes for the new year, and receive the blessings and wishes of our Spiritual Father.
