Today, Thursday, September 19, 2019, Metropolitan Gabriel of Nea Ionia and Philadelphia, accompanied by the Protosyncellus, Archimandrite Epiphanios, visited the Mayor of Philadelphia-Chalkidona, Giannis Vouros.
During the meeting, the Metropolitan wished the new mayor much success.
On his part, Giannis Vouros expressed his deep respect for Metropolitan Gabriel and assured him that their cooperation would be close and constructive.
The next meeting will be held next week so that the two sides will discuss all the issues related to the municipality and the Holy Metropolis.
