On Sunday, August 11, the Metropolitan of Kastoria was present at the martyrded Kleisoura in order to perform the Divine Liturgy on the occasion of the anniversary meeting of the Kleisourians all over the world in St. Nicholas Church.
The Divine Liturgy was attended by chief officials of the county and the local community.
In his sermon, the Metropolitan, reffering to the evangelical passage, explained the reasons that people followed Christ then and today, focusing on His mercy, due to which He became Human to lead us to salvation.
Last but not least, there followed a procession to the courtyard where the Service of the Sanctification with the True Cross was held, followed by a rich treat with local delicacies.
